Astaxanthin

The alga Haematococcus Pluvialis is a small unicellular microalgae. This algae is rich in astaxanthin and grows near surface water in ponds, in puddles and in clear lakes. The algae goes through several different phases and during its transformation process a red pigment is formed inside the cell called astaxanthin.

Astaxanthin gives shellfish and salmon its red color. It also counts as a natural carotenoid. Carotenoids are thus a provitamin A, which means that the body can convert it into vitamin A when needed.

Astaxanthin is also a very effective antioxidant for our cell and vascular membranes. It protects cells against oxidative stress.

Ingredients (1 capsule): 500 mg organic olive oil, including 12 mg organic astaxanthin from CO2 extract of the organic ecomass of Haematococcus pluvialis algae (Asataxanthin Oleoresin), gelling agent: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (capsule).

The recommended daily intake (1 capsule every three days) contains:

Organic olive oil - 166.7 mg

- including eco astaxanthin - 4 mg

Dosage: 1 capsule every 3 days with a meal.

Storage: Store in a dry and dark place, out of the reach of small children.
