Bromelain is an enzyme that facilitates the digestion of protein, obtained from pineapple fruits and stems. It breaks down proteins from the diet into smaller components so that the body can absorb the nutrients. Enzymes help in the digestive processes. Bromelain can be taken with or between meals. When taken with a meal, the enzyme will primarily be used for digestion, while bromelain taken between meals can be more easily absorbed into the blood and act in the small intestine.

Can be taken by vegetarians and vegans. Without the addition of fillers, dyes, preservatives and lubricants.

Ingredients: 500g Bromelain 2500 gdu/g extracted from stems and fruits of pineapple (Ananas comosus), maltodextrin, cellulose capsule.

*GDU is a measure of how quickly a gram of bromelain breaks down different proteins.

Dosage: 1 capsule, once or twice a day with or between meals.

The recommended daily dose (2 capsules) contains:

1000mg Bromelain
