- Silymarin is not the only valuable ingredient found in milk thistle seeds. Milk thistle also contains:

essential oils - support digestion,

oil rich in linoleic acid, oleic acid and palmitic acid - with high antioxidant potential

plant sterols – help maintain proper cholesterol levels,

vitamin E - a natural antioxidant.

Milk thistle is available in the form of oil, tablets and capsules, extract, ground and also whole seeds that can be drunk as an infusion.
