Berberine

From a chemical point of view, berberine is an alkaloid. It is a yellow substance and is often used as a dye for dyeing wool, wood and leather. It has strong fluorescent properties - when exposed to UV light, it emits an intense green-yellow light. It occurs naturally in plants classified as barberry. Its greatest amounts are found in plant parts such as roots, rhizomes, stems and bark.

Plants containing berberine are used in various parts of the world to treat inflammation, diseases of the skin, digestive and respiratory organs, and infections of various origins.

Silymarin

Silymarin is the most widely used substance (specifically: a complex of compounds of vegetable origin) in the world for the treatment of liver diseases. Milk thistle, from which silymarin is obtained, is the best-known plant for supporting liver function, and its properties were described over 2,300 years ago. In addition, silymarin has strong antioxidant properties, it helps protect cells against oxidative stress and maintains a high concentration of glutathione in the liver cells. Silymarin also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Ingredients: 1 capsule contains 333 mg barberry extract (Berberis vulgaris) stand. to 50% berberine, 33 mg milk thistle extract (Silybium marianum) stand. to 80% silymarin. Cellulose capsule.

The recommended daily intake (3 capsules) contains:

1000 mg of barberry extract

100 mg milk thistle extract

Dosage: One capsule three times a day before meals.

Storage: dry and cool. Out of reach of small children.
