The collagen

Collagen is a fiber-like protein found in skin, tendons, bones, cartilage, muscles and connective tissue. 30 percent of the entire protein weight consists of collagen. The skin consists of 75 percent collagen, when you are 25 years old it decreases by about one percent per year.

Collagen has a function as a support structure and is necessary for the elasticity of muscles and skin. Collagen is also moisture-binding and thus filling.

The production of collagen declines with increasing age and thus the firmness and elasticity of skin, connective tissue, joints and muscles. By the time we are 60, we may have lost up to 30 percent of our collagen. The process starts already at the age of 30. This can, among other things, manifest itself in joint problems as the joint cartilage is largely (67%) made up of collagen.

Collagen is not easily absorbed through the skin due to too large molecules. Our collagen is hydrolysed, i.e. split, in peptide form, which provides rapid absorption.

Collagen plus

Collagen Plus is a very advanced collagen for joints, skin, hair and nails. The product is synergistic blend of 10 nutrients.

Rose hip

Rosehip has long been used in products for joints. We have added rosehip extract to give a good concentration of rosehip. Rosehips help maintain joint mobility.

MSM

MSM is an organic sulfur and works very well together with other substances.

Bromelain

Bromelain is extracted from pineapple and is considered a systemic enzyme. This means that it can help the body break down excess protein in the body, which is often seen in scarring.

Chondroitin

Chondroitin is a substance found naturally in cartilage and connective tissue and is considered a building block for these.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and skin and to a normal immune system.

Boswellia

Boswellia is a plant genus that has been used in Ayurveda for many thousands of years. Its trees grow mainly in Africa and India.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is mainly used for the skin and to create a moisturizing effect.

Turmeric

To increase the effect, turmeric/curcumin has been added.

Dosage: Dissolve 3/4 tablespoon (7 grams of powder) in a glass of water and stir. Drink just before bed or before breakfast on an empty stomach.

Shake the product in a shaker to dissolve any lumps.

Storage: Store at room temperature out of the reach of small children, not in direct sunlight.
