Angelica root or kvanne, as it is also called in Sweden, is an aromatic, flock-flowered plant that easily grows to around 2 meters tall if it thrives. Growing wild in large parts of Europe and Asia. Blooms in July-August with small greenish-yellow flowers that sit together in almost spherical clusters.

What is angelica root good for?

In case of overdose, angelica root produces an effect completely opposite to that intended - nausea, loss of appetite, headache, itching and sometimes sleep disturbances can occur. Therefore, infusions or tinctures should be drunk according to the recommended daily intake.

Ingredients: Angelica root (Angelica archangelica)

Dosage: 1 teaspoon per cup of boiling water. Leave for 5-10 min. Strain. Drink a cup with a meal.
