Birch leaf

Birch is a tree that is common throughout Sweden and Europe in several species. Birch leaves, bark and sap are used for their valuable properties. The active substances that birch contains are: flavonoids, saponins, essential oil, tannins, vitamin C, minerals including potassium.

Thanks to saponins and essential oil, birch acts as a mild diaphoretic and diuretic and stimulates the function of the kidneys. Birch leaves are also anti-inflammatory and bactericidal.

Ground elder herb (Aegopodium podagraria)

Among the stinging nettles, dandelions ground elder, is one of our most common weeds, which grows in almost the entire country. Not many people know that this plant contains essential oil, resin, protein and vitamin C and can be used in salads, sauces, pies, served hot like spinach and in soups. The leaves can also be used as a base in pesto or in a green smoothie. They can also be put in a pitcher of cold water and give a just right, green taste. The plant has also been used as medicine in the medieval monasteries. An old home remedy for gout is to put warm poultices of cherry leaves on the aching feet.

Stinging nettle leaves (Urtica dioica)

Stinging nettle is not just a weed that can grow in your garden. The plant can be used in the form of tea or infusion - it has a nice mild herbal taste. Nettle also contains many vitamins and minerals such as iron, vitamin A and vitamin C, silicon and potassium. The nettle has many properties. The plant is used for cooking, among other things for soups. Stinging nettle has a natural and fresh taste, and goes well with a cup of herbal tea. It is also said that nettles have a blood forming and cleansing effect on the body.

Blackcurrant leaves

Blackcurrants belong to currant plants and are cultivated in many people's gardens as well as wild in their places. It is the berries and leaves that are used for their valuable properties. The plant contains active substances such as flavonoids, anthocyanin glycosides, carotenes, essential oil, tannins, vitamins C and A, potassium, gamma-linolenic acid GLA. Blackcurrants find their use in cooking, in jams, juices and jellies, desserts and smoothies. As a natural remedy, the plant has antispasmodic and mild diuretic properties. It is said that blackcurrant leaves can be used for rheumatism and gout and that the plant lowers high blood fats.

Mead wort flowers (Filipendula ulmaria)

Mead wort flowers is an herb that belongs to rose plants and grows throughout Sweden. It contains i.a. high levels of salicylic acid which has a natural effect in the body. Tea made from mead wort flowers can be good during times of cold as it has trusted properties.

Mead wort flowers contains active substances such as the glycoside spireaic acid, tannins, mucilage substances, vitamin C, essential oil with, among other things, salicylaldehyde and methylsalicylic acid and the flavonoid quercetin.

As a natural remedy, the plant has antiseptic and disinfecting properties. Can be used for muscle pain and joint pain.

ATTENTION!

 Shake the package thoroughly before each use!!

Ingredients: birch leaves - 20%, ground elder ( Aegopodium podagraria )- 20%, stinging nettle leaves ( Urtica dioica )- 20%, blackcurrant leaves - 20% and mead wort flowers (Filipendula ulmaria) - 20%.

Dosage: 1 tablespoon of herbs per cup of boiling water. Leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes (under the lid). Drink 1-2 times daily. Remember to drink plenty of fluids during the day (at least 2 litres).

Stir the product thoroughly before each use!!

Storage: dry and cool. Keep out of reach of children! Protect from direct sunlight.

ATTENTION!

The herb should not be used by people who are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in the mixture. Pregnant and nursing mothers should not use this product.
