Ginger herb

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a perennial, tropical herb that can grow over a meter tall, with long pointed leaves and purple flowers. However, it is the plant's root that is the most interesting, the root tuber is a raw material with a very wide range of uses.

Ginger grows in warm and humid climates at temperatures of around 19-28˚C. This plant is mainly grown in countries like India, China, Nepal, Taiwan, Bangladesh and Nigeria.

Ginger powder properties and use

Our ginger is dried and ground without extracting the essential oils. The oils are thus preserved in the powder. The herb is rich in antioxidants and minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, zinc and vitamins B, C and E.

Ginger is a popular herb used as a spice not only in Asian dishes. Also used in traditional home remedies. The powder can be mixed with water, juice, yogurt or in your smoothie.

Ingredients: Organic ginger powder.

May contain allergens: cereals containing gluten, nuts and sesame.

Use: 1 teaspoon daily. Mix with water, juice, yogurt, smoothies or add to desserts.
