Royal jelly - food for car larvae
Royal jelly is a secretion produced by the workers who care for the bee larvae and is primarily food for bee larvae, especially future queen bees. During the first three days of life, all beetle larvae are fed with queen bee jelly, after that it is only given to the larvae that will become new queens, while the others are fed with flower nectar.
The queen bee lives up to 40 times longer, grows an average of 40% larger and produces 2.5 times her body weight of eggs each day. All these properties are linked to the feeding with royal jelly.
Royal jelly - properties
Freeze-dried royal jelly contains a full 5% of the active substance 10-DHA.
Freeze-drying is a way to preserve food because you retain 97% of the food's nutritional value. No heating is required, which can destroy the nutritional value, as with other forms of preservation. This is a process that involves removing water from the food after it has been frozen and placed under vacuum. This allows the ice to be directly converted from solid form (ice) to gas form (steam) without passing through a liquid phase (1).
In addition to 10-DHA, Royal jelly contains vitamins and minerals such as vitamins A, B, C, D and E. Royal jelly is especially rich in pantothenic acid (B5) which is beneficial for skin, hair and nails and B vitamins, including folic acid, inositol and biotin are included. In royal jelly we also find 19 amino acids, 18 different enzymes and natural collagen.
Royal jelly also found its use in beauty care products thanks to its positive effect on the skin.

Freeze-dried royal jelly as a dietary supplement has no negative side effects if you follow the recommended dosage instructions. However, the product is not recommended for pregnant, nursing mothers and children. People who are allergic to by-products or pollen and suffer from asthma should be careful.
