Active ingredients in ProStik®

Marine collagen - also called hydrolysed collagen. Collagen is a natural protein found in the body. It mainly occurs in supporting tissues such as skin, bones and tendons, but also in cartilage, muscle tissue, hair and nails. Collagen contributes to maintaining the normal function of the skin, cartilage and bone structure.

ProStik® - is a proprietary formula made from mangosteen fruit (Garcinia mangostana). The mangosteen (or garcinia) is a tree that grows in tropical countries; its fruits, about the size of a tangerine, have valuable properties known since ancient times. Mangosteen fruits are high in dietary fiber, including chitin; vitamins: group B, E, provitamin A, C; minerals: potassium, sodium, magnesium, iron, manganese, zinc, copper; polyphenols, especially catechins; coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) and xanthones (mainly α- and γ-mangostin).

Shilajit Extract - Shilajit is usually in the form of black, resin-like crystals. It has a very complex and diverse composition, depending on the place of origin. Shilajit usually contains: 20% minerals (over 40 macro- and micro-elements), 15% proteins, 10% lipids and steroids, as well as carbohydrates, organic humic acids (including humic acid - gives the black color and fulvic acid), polyphenols, alkaloids, amino acids and vitamins .

Willow bark extract - the valuable properties of this tree have been known since ancient times. The main active ingredient is the phenolic glycoside - salicin, which is converted into easily absorbed saligenin as a result of enzymatic hydrolysis in the intestine. In addition to salicylic acid compounds, willow bark contains other glycosides, flavonoids and tannins.

Devil's claw – is a South African perennial desert plant with valuable properties. The plant is particularly valuable and contains mainly iridoid glycosides (1-3%; harpagoside, harpagid and procumbid), but also other glycosides, flavonoids, phytosterols, minerals and carbohydrates.

Centella asiatica herbal extract - also called Gotu kola is a plant rich in chemical compounds belonging to the group of pentacyclic triterpene saponins (we can distinguish bramoside, asiaticoside, centelloside, tankuniside, scepoleoside and acids: asiatic, madecassic, centellic and bramic). Their exact composition and quantity depends on the plant's place of origin. In addition to these chemical compounds, gotu kola also contains vitamins (A, C, E, K), B vitamins, minerals (magnesium, manganese, selenium, zinc, calcium, sodium), essential oils, flavonoids, saponins, glycosides, serine and glutamic acid .

Angelica root contains: essential oil, terpenes (cymene, camphene, limonene), coumarin compounds and furanocoumarin compounds (xantoxin, xantotoxol, angelicin), also organic acids, phytosterols, flavonoids, fats, triterpenes and sugars.
