 Dong Quai occurrence

Dong Quai  is an herb in the family of paniculate plants. It grows best in cold, moist areas and occurs naturally at high altitudes in China and Japan. It produces small clusters of white flowers. Chinese watercress has a pleasant smell and is widely cultivated for its roots, which are harvested in autumn, its young shoots and seeds are used in Asia as a spice.

Dong quai is a rich source of phytoestrogens that can help to help restore the balance of female hormones. The herb also contains a substance called coumarin.

Do not use during menstruation. It is recommended to start using Dong Quai the day after the end of menstruation and continue until ovulation. Then take a break and resume use after your period. When using the product, you should limit your exposure to the sun, as furanocoumarins present in the herb increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight.

 Infusion: 1-2 teaspoons of the root in a glass of boiling water, brew covered for 20-30 minutes. Drink a glass of infusion 2-3 times a day.
