DIY Natural beauty treatments for skin and hair
Skin problems such as irritation, hypersensitivity or allergies are becoming increasingly common. Dandruff, hair loss and other hair problems are also common among adults. It is very difficult to choose the right products to help with our ailments. It is no wonder then that we return to natural products, without preservatives, dyes and other chemical compounds. Herbs are arguably the most natural. Their valuable properties have been known for years and are now being rediscovered.
Hair rinses
Oily scalp or dandruff?
Lemon balm is perfect for oily hair, it helps get rid of dandruff and adds shine. Thyme is another herb that works against dandruff and oily scalp.
Do you suffer from hair loss?
Make a nettle hair rinse that contains, among other things: vitamin C, K, B2, B6, organic acids, flavonoids, iron, sulphur, calcium, sodium, iodine, potassium and phosphorus. These ingredients improve blood supply to the scalp, which stimulates hair follicles to grow.
Horsetail is another herb that works for hair loss. The herb contains vitamin C, silicon, phytosterols, flavonoids, organic acids, potassium and aluminum salts.
How to do a hair rinse?
Pour boiling water over the selected herb and let it sit covered for 10 to 15 minutes. When the herb has brewed, remove the lid and wait until the liquid becomes lukewarm. Strain with a strainer, cheesecloth or use a coffee/tea filter.
1.Use the hair rinse after washing your hair, or after conditioning,
2.Dry the hair lightly,
3.Then pour the hair rinse slowly over the hair. You want to cover everything,
4. You can rinse, but you don't have to.
Use this natural hair rinse regularly and you will see how the power of herbs will work wonderfully on your hair.
